Originally founded in 1988, we have since established a reputation for innovative quality products & service. The company has been restructured in 2003 & now has a new name Specialist Tooling Technologies Ltd to reflect the wider range of expertise we now offer. STT is still an independent company run by highly skilled engineers who understand and appreciate the problems encountered by engineering manufacturers.

Approved to BS EN ISO 9001 2000, we are a provider of cost-effective measurement and manufacturing solutions to high volume manufacturers within the engineering & manufacturing industries, including many blue chip companies.

Specialist Tooling Technologies uses its depth of experience and expertise to provide:

  • An innovative resource centre, embracing everything from concept to delivery and after sales support.
  • Design engineering, manufacturing, technical and project management skills backed up by a supportive customer service policy.
  • Manual and automatic specialist inspection and measurement equipment, including acceptance gauges, electronic multi point gauges, vision systems and laser measurement.
  • Manual, hydraulic and pneumatic workholding fixtures; including, cube & 4th axis fixturing, Poke Yoke assembly fixtures and on-site fixing jigs and gauges for the railway industry.
  • Special purpose machines for a wide variety of applications.
  • Data recording and analysis systems, output displays interface units, columns and transducers.
  • We are also proud be Metrology Partners With Heidenhain (GB) Ltd and can offer all Heidenhain products either as part of a turnkey package or on a supply only basis.
